Casualfood - the taste of travelling. It all began with Mayer’s first snack cart in 2005: tactically clever, just behind the security controls at Frankfurt Airport. This was the beginning of casualfood’s success story … It quickly became clear that this mobile idea had gone down very well with the hungry airport guests. The two casualfood creators, Stefan Weber and Michael Weigel, continuously developed many other elaborate travel catering concepts and convenience ideas. Customized for travellers and made alive single-handedly from marketing to architecture. A formula for success that keeps growing: Today, we are represented at over 59 locations at airports, stations and motorways with about 700 employees and seven different catering concepts. Names such as Mayer’s, Quicker’s, Mondo, Mondo Bianco, Hermann’s, Italissimo, Basta or Natural have become firmly established in travel catering.
