XGen Studios is an independently owned and operated game developer and publisher of several award-winning titles on consoles, mobile and the web. Established in 2001 and located in Edmonton, Canada we are a team of passionate creative people driven to make games that we’d want to play ourselves. We’re excited by emerging technologies and the new experiences these make possible. In the past decade, XGen has brought to market 14 commercial games for platforms including the Nintendo Switch™, PS4™, PS3™, Mac, PC, Android, iOS and the Web. Some history highlight includes the #1-selling hit Defend Your Castle for Nintendo’s WiiWare™ Service, Day-1 PS4™ title Super Motherload, and the Canada Media Funded (CMF) critically acclaimed point-and-click adventure The Low Road.
