Westgate Village Shopping Center

The Westgate Village Shopping Center was built in 1956, The Westgate Building a few years later. The shopping center brought The Lion Store to west Toledo, followed by LaSalle and Sears stores, all retail leaders in the city. With the development of indoor shopping malls, the face of Westgate began to change, eventually leading to redevelopment in 2006 and the introduction of Costco to the Westgate area.
