West Florida Health is the partnership of two top-ranked healthcare providers in Florida, Tampa General Hospital and Florida Hospital. Both hospital systems continue to operate as independent organizations, offering a variety of separate health care services to their patients. As West Florida Health, they will offer an increased continuity of care and better delivery of medical services outside the hospitals’ walls. West Florida Health is licensed to provide home care services in Hillsborough, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas and parts of Sumter counties. West Florida Health Home Care will provide professional clinical care, personal care, and a wide range of medical services that a patient might need after being discharged from a hospital. The home care agency also provides specialized care for medical issues like heart failure, respiratory diseases, orthopedics, and diabetes.
