The Washington Regional Cancer Support Home exists to provide hope and comfort to those learning to live with cancer.
In March 1995, we set out to reach this goal by opening the doors of a historic home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. With a staff of one, we offered a variety of free support services to those affected by cancer.
Through generous grants from The Cancer Challenge and the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Cancer Support Home expanded its programs to include free health education, early-detection screening clinics and support services throughout Northwest Arkansas.
In 2000, a second location was opened in Bentonville, Arkansas. The two homes, staffed by four full-time employees and over 20 dedicated volunteers, connect nearly 20,000 people every year with preventative education and treatment resources.
