The Wasatch Speaker Series, Presented by Intermountain Healthcare. Seven powerful evenings of inspiration, intellectual stimulation, and insight with luminaries of our time. Up-close and personal in an open and unbiased forum. The season runs October 4, 2017 through March 29, 2018. The Wasatch Speaker Series takes place at Abravanel Hall in the Heart of Downtown Salt Lake City. This unique and unprecedented subscription-based series has a stellar lineup of speakers, including Former Vice President Joe Biden, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Jane Goodall, Captain Scott Kelly, Jane Pauley, Paul Nicklen, and General Martin Dempsey, USA (Ret). Subscribers own their seats for an entire season and have first right of renewal. The 2017-2018 season of the Wasatch Speaker Series has been carefully crafted to deliver a range of inspiring speakers – world leaders, innovators and scientists, pioneering explorers, humanitarians, and renowned broadcast journalists in an open, unbiased forum where exciting concepts are presented and a broad scope of issues are explored for the intellectual enrichment of the community. Each speaker will provide you with a greater awareness and broader understanding of new – and sometimes controversial – ideas in a family-friendly environment.
