About Toyota Advanced Logistics North America: Toyota Materials Handling Group (TMHG), the largest subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), is the world’s largest provider of forklifts. TICO recognized that changing dynamics in global material handling markets relating to e-commerce, labor costs and automation, have created a permanent demand for advanced logistics solutions, including automation. To accomplish this, TICO created the Toyota Advanced Logistics Group (TALG) to complement their Toyota Material Handling Group and provide customers with the most comprehensive solution offering available in the market. To execute this strategy in North America, TICO created Toyota Advanced Logistics North America (TALNA) to manage activities in the area of advanced logistics, including automation, systems integration and supply chain management solutions. TALNA commenced operations in 2017 and acquired Bastian Solutions as the first group company under the TALNA operative structure.
