It was in the year 1967, when our late founder, Mr. Amarjit Singh Tibb, traveled to India via Beirut. What happened next, is what gave birth to your favorite Indian Snack, “TIBB’S FRANKIE”. On his way back to India, he tried the famous, stuffed pita bread in Beirut. THAT WAS IT! As soon as he landed in India, he along with his wife & co-founder Late. Mrs. Surinder Kaur Tibb started their innovation by creating, the most loved snack across the globe. After all the experimentation, the year 1969, gave birth to the globally craved wholesome Indian snack & 100% freshly prepared. It is not like any other roll, as this one is filled with tantalizing juicy Indian gravy. This is not it, a TIBB’S FRANKIE IS NOT A TIBB’S FRANKIE WITHOUT IT’S GLORIFIED, “SECRET MASALA”. It all began when they started selling their most distinguished mutton curry rolled in a roti, in the backseat of their car at Powai lake in Mumbai. Until then, this fabulous product didn’t have a name. One evening when Mr. Amarjit Singh Tibb, went to watch the historic cricket match, India v/s West Indies. The crowd roared, “FRANKIE”, in unison when Sir Frank Worell hit a six! And this is how Frankie got its name! The year 1992 is when Tibb’s Frankie gave birth to new flavors & opened outlets across India. The person behind making this big change is the current Director, Mr. Jasmit Singh Tibb. He along with his parents grew the seeds of this family brand in the hearts of people. Today, Tibb’s Frankie is run by the Tibb Brothers, Mr. Jasmit Tibb & Mr. Harpreet Tibb. It is present with over 300+ outlets in India & Dubai. The Tibb brothers aim to broaden the horizon by taking this overly loved product across the globe. Interestingly, today the word, “Frankie” is used locally around the world. However, this word belongs to the Tibb family. Frankie is a registered trademark by Tibbs Foods Private Limited.
