The Health Wagon

The Health Wagon's mission is to provide compassionate, quality medical care to the medically underserved in the mountains of Appalachia. The Health Wagon serves patients through both a mobile medical unit and a stationary clinic. Appalachia. Through the use of this innovative mobile health unit, health care doors are opened to many needy individuals, families, and communities; doors that would have otherwise remained closed. The Health Wagon visits eight sites in Southwest Virginia's Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell and Wise counties on a weekly, biweekly, and monthly basis. The Health Wagon is fully funded through charitable gifts, grants, and donations.
