The Saline Preservation Association was formed in 2003. It's mission is to promote historic preservation within the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. The current projects are the Saline District Courthouse at Rose, OK and the Lewis Ross Springhouse, Salina, OK. This non-profit is a membership organization. They have won awards with the State Historic Preservation Office and with Preservation Oklahoma for their work on the planning and implementation of the Saline National Park restoration project.
