Pony Express Bank operates in two eras. Our banking accounts, products, and online services are the most advanced there are to offer. But when it comes to customer service, we tend to be old-fashioned. We deal with our customers individually, treating people like people, not numbers. Our customers are our neighbors, after all. Pony Express Bank was established in 1890, but it's not just the bank that has several generations of experience—our people do too. Scott Page, President and CEO, and Tom Page, Executive Vice President, are their family's fourth generation of community bankers. Originally from Plankinton, South Dakota, the Page family has served in community banking since 1915. Scott Page moved to Liberty, Missouri, in 1984, working at two area banks for nearly a decade before being named President of Pony Express Bank in 1993. Tom joined Pony Express Bank in 1997 after extensive experience, including serving as President of the family bank in South Dakota. The entire Pony Express Bank staff is committed to community banking. The two branches today are as strong as they are thanks to the efforts of 33 employees, representing over 800 years of experience.
