Description
Information
From our humble beginnings in 1987 on North Central in Knoxville, Phoenix Conversions has always been the place to take your vehicle “when it has to be the best”. Founded by owner Scott Hayse with partner George Vaughan, Phoenix quickly became “the place” to take your van or truck for custom and conversion packages. Initially, Phoenix Conversions focused exclusively on van conversions and, as the automotive market changed, so did Phoenix. With the light truck market flourishing and customers becoming increasingly interested in personalizing their rides, Phoenix evolved into an Auto, Truck, & SUV accessory superstore. In 1995, Phoenix opened a retail store on the corner of Mabry Hood & Trucker’s Lane (now Parkside Drive )in West Knoxville. With the success of this location, all operations were combined to the West Knoxville store in 1997. 2001 saw Phoenix Conversions venture into the wholesale distribution market and by 2004 had distribution centers in Kingsport, Nashville, and Memphis. In 2005 Phoenix’s distribution arm was sold to P&E Distributors near Nashville. This move allowed Phoenix to streamline operations and focus on helping customers regionally right here in Knoxville,TN. The latest evolution of Knoxville’s largest accessory superstore was our re-location to 5915 Casey Drive. The move to the super warehouse has allowed us to offer Boat, RV, and Classic Car storage, while providing customers with the largest accessory showroom in the area, including Commercial Vehicle Equipment. Since 1987 Phoenix Conversions has remained “the place” to take your Car, Truck, or SUV for the custom accessories you need to personalize your ride. Remember, “When it has to be the Best”, call Phoenix Conversions!
