We are a newly established game developer, headquartered in Cyprus with offices in Greece and the USA. We operate on a global basis and are led by a seasoned team of gaming professionals with deep industry know-how, who draw on the extensive corporate, legal and financial resources of our wider group. Para Bellum is investing in in-house hard plastic mold production and placing great emphasis on art as both the main method of communicating its unique setting and the origin of its high-quality miniatures. It is our intent to offer the best quality plastic miniatures in the market. Para Bellum’s Conquest game “Basic Box” will contain more than 70 figures including cavalry, brutes and monsters and is designed to be fully playable from the start. The unique IP that has been developed for this project will be used to expand the product catalog of the company. A complete, original fantasy setting has been created as a backdrop to this game, with mature content that complements the game design and aesthetics. With hundreds of pages of background material and hundreds of original art pieces produced by our in-house studio, players will be immersed in a unique and complex world that we will be expanding across multiple editions, expansions and crossover games. Our world currently supports 12 distinct civilizations, each of which can be further expanded into more than one, playable, faction. The business model we follow is distributor oriented; with local language licensing assigned to partners as well as reasonable distributor discounts that will reflect their effort and commitment to promoting and selling our products within their markets. Para Bellum has commissioned the best war-game designer in the market, Alessio Cavatore and his company “Riverhorse”. This is an indication of the high standards the company maintains across all facets of production. The game play-style is inclusive, lending itself well to casual, tournament and narrative players.
