Make Music NOLA

Make Music NOLA is a non-profit music school dedicated to providing high-quality music education to students in Orleans Parish eligible for free or reduced lunch. Our mission is to promote academic achievement, cultivate artistic expression, and promote the healthy growth and development of children in New Orleans through culturally relevant music instruction and performance. Make Music NOLA offers after-school and weekend programs in orchestral string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass), general music, workshops/masterclasses, and music theory. Our programs are designed to provide students with a fulfilling and constructive community outside of school, all while exploring the complexities of music and studying an instrument. Our programs extend across New Orleans, and students have multiple performance opportunities every year at sites around the city, including at museums, festivals, and parks.
