Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau

The Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau is the voice of business for Mackinac Island. Through the Tourism Bureau, local professionals and businesses work together to identify, define and find solutions for business and community issues. The Tourism Bureau and its membership work to enhance and grow tourism on Mackinac Island through marketing and promotion of member establishments in addition to promoting the social, industrial, commercial and civic welfare of the people of Mackinac Island. The Tourism Bureau has been the leading marketing organization responsible for generating day trips and overnight visitation in order to enhance the vitality of our economy. With over 275 business, non-profits and individual members, the Tourism Bureau is also concerned with the ongoing viability and vitality of the island’s historical, cultural, civic, environmental and recreational features that position Mackinac Island as a premier destination for visitors and provides a special way of life for its residents. The Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau is a private 501(c)6 marketing organization soley funded by membership dues.
