The Ground Hog was created in 1996 by Raymond Lucas for the sole use of keeping his family safe while they rode barrels at the local arena on their property. Now The Ground Hog has become one of the most asked-for brands among arena groomers in ranching and rodeo. The Ground Hog is used by rodeos across the country including the granddaddy of them all, the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
