Lonsdale Quay

Historically the waterfront at the south end of Lonsdale Avenue was known as the Lonsdale Quay, which includes a public pier, seawall, docks, farmers market and event space, art galleries, parks, restaurants, local shops, and so much more. Today the Lonsdale Quay goes west to Waterfront Park and East to The Shipyards District and then from the waterfront North to 3rd Street. You can also call the area Lower Lonsdale or Lolo. Decades ago the area was also used for making ships for WW2 and commercial applications.
