Lego Masters At UIUC

The Lego Masters is a registered student organization at the University of Illinois dedicated to providing members with the resources to participate in our Education, Design, and Engineering initiatives. Through these operations, the Lego Masters facilitate an after-school STEAM program at local elementary schools that teaches children grades K-5 the basics of engineering, mechanics, and coding through Lego Education materials. Our Design teams participate in official Lego design contests, submitting Lego set designs created on Studio 2.0 software to both monthly and ongoing contests, with the change to get their designs transformed into official Lego retail sets. Our Engineering teams hypothesize, plan, and construct functioning electronics out of Lego products every semester. Currently, the Lego Masters are assembling two completely-functional Vending Machines constructed entirely out of Lego bricks.
