The Las Vegas Institute of Technology (division of Pacific Health Software) is an educational institution that is dedicated to developing the skills, knowledge and experience of its students; our goal is to provide courses in stable, yet growing, technology sectors that will improve the careers of industry professionals, as well as launch the careers of Nevada residents, including the unemployed or underemployed. The Las Vegas Institute of Technology develops these skills by creating curriculums that allow its students to focus on specific programs and career paths; we have launched our educational program by partnering with the largest enterprise software maker in the world, the Oracle Corporation . As a partner in Oracle’s Workforce Development Program (WDP), we are able to offer a comprehensive suite of Oracle training courses using Oracle University’s official training manuals, solutions sets and software. The Las Vegas Institute of Technology is the only Oracle WDP partner in Nevada and there are no WDP partners in the surrounding states of Arizona and Idaho, all of which have major Oracle (and PeopleSoft) customers; the nearest partners in the western United States are in Irvine, California and Boulder, Colorado. We will also offer non-Oracle courses in Predictive Analytics, information systems security and other advanced technology certification programs. In addition, we will supplement our curriculums by providing students free university-level courses online. We will utilize complete course material from Stanford, Harvard and MIT that have published free introductory and advanced technology courses online.
