Kikwetu Foundation

Kikwetu foundation emerged in the year 2012 from the most unlikely places, a cyber café based in Dandora Slums, Nairobi Kenya. The main goal was to transform communities in response to a growing feeling of desolation among the Kenyan youth. This goal was to be achieved by advocating for the African culture while creating wealth for the youth and other vulnerable members of society. The first task that the foundation undertook was to train youth on computer literacy. The founder understood that technology presents unique opportunities for individuals. These classes provided the so much need network and access to online jobs and opportunities.
