KTS Medicaid Pooled Trust

KTS Pooled Trust is a supplemental needs trust which enables individuals to deposit their monthly income, which is above the Medicaid allowance into a Pooled trust. When you deposit the excess income into a Pooled trust, you can continue to remain, or become eligible, for Medicaid benefits. Under federal law, after depositing your excess income, the trust can utilize your money to pay for rent, food, utilities, and other basic living expenses. Without a Pooled Trust, you would have to give your excess income to Medicaid, and not be able to use it for your needs.
