GEORGE ROMNEY LIMITED is a 4th generation family run business that has been trading for over 100 years. Romney's Kendal Mint Cake was carried on the first successful summit of Mount Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Sirdar Tenzing on May 29th 1953. It is often described as the original energy bar. Romney's also produces a large range of hand made butter fudges, old fashioned treacle toffee made to a traditional family recipe and is a wholesaler of various other lines of sweets and confectionery.
