Flight simulation is our passion and SimCenter Tampa Bay is the newest Tampa Bay attraction for Aviation Enthusiasts worldwide! Unlike most other flight centers, we are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Our parent company, Simatrix, LLC, was founded by private pilot and flight enthusiast Peter Repak, and businessman Joseph Hirku. We are the exclusive representative of Germany-based flight simulator manufacturer, CockpitSonic, a company dedicated to flight simulation since 2000. SimCenter Tampa Bay is the entertainment side of our business and it is a flight center in Dunedin, Florida (near Clearwater, and west of Tampa). It currently houses three flight simulators: a Boeing 737 jetliner, an F-16 and an F-35 fighter jet simulator, all of which you can fly in pre-scheduled time slots. The two fighter jets are linked so a team of 2 can complete a mission together. Through our joint venture with Tampa Bay Aviation, we also offer flight experience in the FAA certified, real size R-22 helicopter simulator. While the flight experience we offer is for fun, and most of our customers are beginners in flying, our simulator units are SERIOUSLY REALISTIC so we can satisfy and challenge any professional as well!
