Each patient’s work up and plan of treatment is individually tailored to their unique medical condition. Endocrine Partners specializes in Endocrinology and Metabolism. Our practice treats Thyroid Diseases, Polycystic Ovaries (PCOS), Pituitary and Adrenal Disorders, Menopause, Diabetes and Low Testosterone. Dr. Lewy-Alterbaum also specializes in Thyroid Ultrasound and Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy of Thyroid nodule and lymph nodes. We see very complex disorders including Thyroid Cancer and we provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluation and Ultrasound studies, as well as state of the art monitoring for cancer recurrence. Our practice also offers a medically supervised weight-loss program aimed to better manage diabetes and obesity. We have an individualized body composition analysis, a nutrition plan tailored to your lifestyle and a monitoring program to help you stay on track. Our practice is also involved in clinical research and as the lead clinical research investigator I take pride in being in the forefront of research to explore alternative treatment options for our patient population.
