EnPower Solutions was founded by utility company co-workers that were frustrated by the fact that smaller customers were not able to access renewable energy resources. We started EnPower with the vision to provide guaranteed renewable energy savings with no investment of money or resources on their part. We design, build, own, operate, and maintain the facility and our customers continue to use electricity the same as before; however now, cleaner, quieter, and cheaper. EnPower supports all types of customers, but we’ve specialized our services for universities, schools, municipalities, churches, and hospitals. We recognize that these institutions face unique financial barriers to renewable energy, particularly their inability to access the tax financing benefits afforded by solar. EnPower tailors a strategy that preserves the tax benefits of solar, requires no capital investments, and guarantees a reduction in electricity costs (average annual savings of 20%). EnPower can deliver solar energy from unused land, empty roof space, or even parking lots with overhead canopies. EnPower uses a structure similar to an “energy lease” or “energy mortgage”; no down payment followed by monthly payments for the power produced by the solar plant. We finance it, build it, own it, and maintain it. We make our money by adding a small markup in the energy price, similar to mortgage interest. We must understand your needs fully in order to design a system that meets or exceeds those needs.
