The main Tax benefits of the ZEC entities are: A reduced Corporate Income Tax at a rate of 4%, double Taxation Agreements signed by Spain apply to ZEC Entities, the European Union Parent-Subsidiary Directive applies to ZEC Entities, there are exceptions for paying Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty, the IGIC (the equivalent to VAT in The Canary Islands with a general rate of 5%) is exempt for operations among ZEC entities and for importing of goods.
