Druid Theatre Company

Founded in Galway in 1975 as the first professional theatre company outside Dublin, Druid is a multi-award-winning theatre company. The company’s mission is to be a touring company without peer, anchored in the West of Ireland and looking to the world, producing and presenting the best work, both new and old, with boldness, agility, passion and flair. Druid passionately believes that audiences have a right to see first class professional theatre in their own communities and to date have presented work in over 100 Irish communities and 40 international festivals and venues.
