Information
The Department of the Air Force (DAF) Women's Initiatives Team (WIT) is one of seven teams under the Department of the Air Force Barrier Analysis Working Group (DAFBAWG). It is aligned under the Secretary of the Air Force’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion (SAF/ODI) and comprised of volunteers from the Air and Space Force. Some members represent their organizational units in their assigned roles, while most are volunteers dedicated to identifying and eliminating artificial barriers to women's service in the Department of the Air Force and Department of Defense. Mission: Identify barriers to women’s service in the Department of the Air Force and Department of Defense that influence and impact a women’s propensity to serve and advocate to eliminate those barriers through policy change.
