DASH Academy

DASH Academy was established to further the understanding of direct anterior surgery for hip replacement. This online collection of surgical videos and other education videos are available free of charge to interested surgeons and healthcare providers. DASH Academy surgical videos were developed by the Memorial Bone and Joint Clinical Research Foundation, a non-profit whose ultimate goal is to improve outcomes for patients with musculoskeletal disease. Inspired by Khan Academy, which provides educational video lectures on a variety of subjects, DASH Academy videos address specific tips and techniques related to the direct anterior approach—from draping and navigation to exposure and key releases.
