CrossFunction Sports Massage was founded when a standard massage was simply not cutting it. As an athlete, the owner had nagging pains from her sport, and decided there was much more to massage than one standard flavor of movement that could be repeated at any location. Each person is unique, and each sport brings a unique component to its beauty. The owner vowed to be the best Sports Massage Therapist possible, and to create a team of Sports Massage Guru's who have been there on the field/court/gym, now choosing to help others in their pursuit of greatness. CrossFunction Sports Massage was Born for the Athlete. CrossFunction Sports Massage uses a variety of applications including pin and stretch, cupping, kinesiotaping, triggerpoint, Swedish, guasha, and other techniques within a session. Each session is completely tailored to each client and their needs. A session can be in shorts and a tank top, which is general to most athletic settings, or in a regular massage format. If the client consents to team communication, we work exceptionally well with their team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Sports Medicine, Chiropractor, Coaches, and other organizations or team members to assist in a well-rounded solution.
