Comet Club

ABOUT THE PROGRAM We know how hard it can be to get an uninterrupted hour to focus while your children are at home. That’s why we designed Comet Club. We believe that parents shouldn’t have to choose between being the best parent they can be and being able to succeed at work. Comet Club is designed to get kids active, a critical part of their development. Children have 51% better self control when they get 30- 40 minutes of physical activity and are more resistant to depression for 2+ years. Classes such as Ninja Martial Arts, Dancing with the Stars, and Adventure Stories gets kids moving indoors with only a couple feet of space. The curriculum focuses on engagement and creative, cooperative play. Children are encouraged to interact with and support each other. COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAM: • Live online after-school activities with certified, experienced and background-checked instructors. • Emphasis on engagement where all children are referred to by name and receive personal attention in small groups • Several class options to choose from (e.g. ninja class, dancing with the stars, music, arts & crafts, cooking, etc...) • Frequent reports on your child’s activities and progress • Social-emotional learning and cooperative play opportunities ABOUT US Our team met as graduate students at Stanford and bonded over our shard passion for the future of children’s entertainment and development. We have backgrounds in tech and entertainment at companies such as McKinsey, Netflix, MasterCard, and Facebook.
