The Colvard-Kandavel Eye Center has assembled a team of physicians that trained at some of the most prestigious hospitals in the world. Our doctors hold academic positions at both UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute and Doheny Eye Institute. Michael Colvard, M.D. Dr. Colvard is recognized as one of the nation’s preeminent eye surgeons. Rom Kandavel, M.D. Dr. Kandavel is specialty trained in laser vision correction and cataract surgery. Justin Dredge, M.D. Dr. Dredge completed a Glaucoma fellowship at the world-renowned USC-Roski Eye Institute in Los Angeles, training under the mentorship of world-renowned leaders in glaucoma such as Grace Richter and Benjamin Xu. Steven Yoon, M.D. Dr. Yoon completed his residency in ophthalmology at the New England Eye Center in Boston, and his fellowship in Oculofacial, Plastic, and Orbital Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. Stephen Rabinowitz, M.D. Dr. Rabinowitz has been practicing with the Ophthalmic Surgeons of Greater Bridgeport in Fairfield, Connecticut for the past 32 years.
