Clothed By Faith

Everyday children face social, emotional and economic barriers because they lack access to quality clothing. Clothed by Faith is helping to remove these barriers by providing clothing for a week, shoes and new underwear and socks. Clothed by Faith works with other agencies, non-profits, and school districts serving the Greater Houston area to provide clothing for at risk children in need of the confidence and dignity that quality clothing provides. Our Mission is to demonstrate God's love through the provision of gently used clothing to those in need. We serve clients from our 2 branches located in Katy and Deer Park and have served people from Conroe to Galveston and Beaumont to Columbus. As of end November 2021 we have helped over 80,000 children and adults since 2013. We provide a week's worth of outfits, a pair of shoes and NEW underwear & socks (when available). Over the past few years our School Partnerships have increased. Our Closets for Schools program was started so that schools could meet the need for clothing immediately for their students. Through Closets for Schools we are putting closets inside schools to enable our school partner contacts to have immediate access to give children a new pair of shoes, an outfit, or one week’s worth of gently used clothing as well as school uniforms. The school will also have the option of requesting clothing through CBF’s online system for other family members in need of clothing. We currently have 13 schools on a waiting list in Houston ISD for closets. Please consider sponsoring one of these closets so that children can attend school with confidence and dignity.
