City Of Hermitage

The City of Hermitage is a small municipality located in Hermitage, PA. Departments include Police, Fire, Street, Treasurer, Parks & Recreation, Finance, Planning & Development and our state of the art WPC plant. The Berkheimer offices are also located within our Municipal Offices. The City itself has undergone tremendous growth in the past few years including the addition of several franchise and local restaurants, breweries and shopping. The City of Hermitage offers the advantages of small-town living with the cultural and recreational opportunities of large cities - theater, dining, museums, and professional sports - close by. There are eight colleges and universities located in the immediate area and an additional twenty located within 75 miles of Hermitage. The City of Hermitage employs just over 100 employees within an additional 40 or more temporary employees hired during the summer season.
