About Chinese Women in the City  Fit in | Stand out Chinese Women in the City was founded by a group of like-minded Chinese female professionals from the world's leading financial institutions. The first of its kind, it is dedicated to supporting professional women with Chinese heritage in the finance and technology industries. “我们懂，我们在乎，我们为你而在。”  望星社由一群供职于世界顶尖金融机构的华人女性在伦敦创立。我们为金融与技术行业的华人女性提供一个共同探索，交流，帮助的平台；给所有独立思考，心中有海，眼里盛星的职业女性一个温暖，坚实的拥抱。 Our Initiatives - Empower Communities: * Build Support Network: tackle the difficulties and challenges of living and working in the UK as first and second generation of immigrants through collective effort. * Facilitate Communication: provide a platform for members to share their growth stories as well as lessons learnt, and useful information and resources. * Mentor the next generation of leaders, with special focus on young women of Chinese origins from less privileged background. - Raise Aspiration: * Horizon Series: feature industry experts to convey big picture in the members’ industry which is so critical to move from a hard-skill based role to a management role. * Sparks Series: promote the achievements of women of Chinese origins and so provide role models for the wider community - Work Smart: * Career Workshops: tailored to strengthen members’ soft skills. * Fireside Chats: feature business leaders to share their stories and advices to succeed at work.
