Caribelle Batik

Caribelle Batik is located at the historical plantation site of Romney Manor found on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts. Set in picturesque tropical gardens, artists use the ancient form of batik to create beautiful fabrics that represent the culture and splendor of life in St. Kitts. Caribelle produced its first batik in 1974. From humble beginnings, Caribelle has now become the Caribbean’s most sought after batik product. Visited by thousands each year, occasionally hosting the rich and famous, Caribelle has acquired an international reputation for fine products. Visitors can watch the artists at work and learn the technique during hands-on demonstrations.
