Information
Helping individuals and families affected by alcohol or other drug addiction in Western Sydney through counselling and education. Delivering counselling and education to individuals, families and communities experiencing difficulties with alcohol and other drugs and their impacts. Bridges' was established to support people in making lifestyle and relationship choices and in managing conflict, while reducing the harm associated with alcohol and other drug usage. Looking at these issues within a social and family context, Bridges Inc worked with communities, families, individuals and organisations, with a view to breaking down isolation and building on strengths. Bridges was founded on 19 Nov 1987 as Blacktown Alcohol & Other Drugs Family Services Inc and served the community of Western Sydney. Renamed Bridges Inc in 2008, we merged into Odyssey House NSW on 15 March 2017 and its programs are now delivered out of Blacktown by Odyssey House.
