Atticus Books

Atticus Books is a small, genre-busting literary press dedicated to discovering new writers and advancing the state of literature one distinct voice at a time. Since October 2010, Atticus Books has published 21 books, including 14 novels, five story collections, and one collective history of the American literary magazine. The press has been awarded seven gold medals by the Independent Book Publisher Awards committee, six IPPY awards for best regional fiction and one top honor in the national Writing/Publishing category. Atticus is a debut fiction specialist with a penchant for satire, inventive writing, and compelling narratives that feature memorable main characters. Atticus also runs a weekly online journal called Atticus Review, which publishes original short stories, poems, literary essays and creative non-fiction on its multimedia website.
