AlabamaWorks is Alabama’s unified workforce development system. It is the culmination of years of work by workforce development officials, educators, and business people who were tasked with leading the transformation of Alabama’s workforce system. AlabamaWorks represents industry, education, and state government. Our mission is to recruit, train, and empower a highly skilled workforce driven by business and industry needs. The goal is to build a better future for Alabama in which communities, business, and industry are supported in a collaborative process to build a prosperous and successful life through the opportunity of meaningful work and a growing economy.
