The Ainsworth Institute of Pain Management is a premier pain management center in New York City dedicated to providing the best in patient care and pain relief. By treating the whole patient, and not just the symptoms, Ainsworth Institute takes a multidisciplinary approach to personal healthcare and aims to make major surgery a last resort whenever possible. The Ainsworth Institute was founded by Dr. Corey Hunter in his vision to create the top center for those suffering from pain. Dr. Hunter completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the New York University Langone Medical Center and his Interventional Pain Management fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital. In a short time, Dr. Hunter has gained national recognition for his many publications and contributions to the study and treatment of pain. His partner, Dr. Eric Lee, is also Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. A power player in the field, he was elected Director-at-Large of the New York chapter of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (NYSIPP). He completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Medical Center at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, and continued at NYU to complete a fellowship in Pain Medicine. As a former athlete, Dr. Lee understands the importance of returning his patients to maximum functional capacity and has experience with numerous sports injuries. Both Dr. Hunter and Dr. Lee are dedicated to advancing pain medicine through their medical practice, published research, and clinical trials in advanced interventional techniques and minimally invasive spinal procedures.
