Actualidad Radio, consisting of Actualidad 1020AM in Miami Dade and Actualidad 1040AM in Broward and Palm Beach, is an AM radio station which has grown steadily in ratings since its launch in January of 2008. Studies show that today’s diversifying South Florida market is looking for a fair and impartial news source which delivers on the necessities required for Spanish speaking Hispanics to prosper and function within our country. To meet the standards of news talk radio, we are staffed with complete news and production organizations with nationalities reflective of South Florida’s diverse demographics. We also have support from the most significant radio news network in Venezuela in addition to the global news bureau support of CNN International.    In 2010 we were the exclusive Live Spanish Language radio broadcaster of the FIFA World Cup. Additionally, the exclusive broadcast through “Futbol de Primera” provided advertisers with above and below the line usage of the World Cup trademarks.  We are a privately held, deeply rooted multi-media company who has been in the business since the early 1960’s.  We have media properties covering every country in Latin America.  Our portfolio of media ventures (television and radio) includes various well known brands: HBO, Cinemax, E!
