Action Clutch

The Birth Action Clutch Inc. was founded in 1962 by avid racer and automotive enthusiast Gary Bart. The company began as a clutch repair and replacement supplier for local service shops in the greater Los Angeles area. During this time, nearby Lions Drag Strip was running at full tilt and racers were searching for a clutch that would simply hold the tremendous amounts of power that they were making. It was at this time that Action began its transition into the aftermarket industry. Gary designed and tested countless clutch setups to find what worked and what didn't. He was a pioneer in developing the early dual diaphragm pressure plates, which are used around the world today. Nearly 50 years later, Action Clutch continues its quest to manufacture the highest quality clutches, through continuous research and product development.
