The purpose of Stonier is to prepare today’s banking leaders for tomorrow’s opportunities by providing the nation’s premier executive education program. This develops the skills for effectively recognizing and handling high-level management issues, through the industry’s most thorough and rigorous curriculum, while preserving the integrity of how the business of banking is conducted. Attendees represent a cross-section of firms that span community, regional, national and international banks as well as regulators. In addition, the school draws students from many different functional areas such as finance, commercial and mortgage lending, retail, operations, risk and compliance and strategic planning. Over 8 days, you will be among 700 students and 70 faculty members, enjoying a rich combination of computer simulations while working in teams, classroom lectures, and interactive sessions. To date, Stonier has educated more than 20,000 professionals. Most are vice presidents or senior vice presidents; one in five is an executive vice president, chairman or CEO. Attendees come from community and regional banks, national and international financial institutions (last year’s class attracted students from 8 countries).
