47 Degrees North Capital Management ("47°N") was launched in 2006 by veteran capital markets professionals with trading, portfolio management and alternative investment backgrounds. The company was a specialist alternative investment firm offering institutional investors access to early-stage managers, innovative strategies and thematic hedge fund investments. 47°N received assets from the largest US pension plan and several European investors.
