Venture Capital Accelerator - 42 Ventures is part venture capital firm, part business accelerator. The firm, organized in 2006 by Ned Stringham, is built on a model very different from traditional VC or Angel Investors. 42v leads with management experience, not capital. Its partners are all successful entrepreneurs with experience and relationships in building successful technology businesses. We invest our own capital, supplemented by funds from a close circle of highly experienced business colleagues. This means greater alignment with management and much more flexibility in deal structure and exit paths than traditional firms. We focus on narrower, more highly-defined markets in sectors where we have experience and relationships that can have a real impact on company success. 42v operates from its base in Salt Lake City and has portfolio companies in Utah, Arizona, Texas and North Carolina.
