Dr. Alyce SU 粟耀瑩 博士 Dr. Alyce SU is currently a Senior portfolio manager and a member of the Investment Committee of Flint Rock Global Investors, LLC, a hedge fund management company which was established by Dr. Lee Thomas III, formerly a Managing Director and the Global Strategist of PIMCO. Before joining Dr. Lee Thomas III in 2008, Dr. Alyce SU worked in Hong Kong’s financial services industry for 8 years; her previous investment management and corporate finance experience included: Director, Asia Pacific, of GAM (then owned by the UBS Group), which was the world’s largest Fund of Hedge Funds; Goldman Sachs, China (2001-2003); McKinsey & Co., Corporate Finance and Strategy, China (2000-2001). In this period of time, Dr. Alyce SU, in 2005 was selected as The First Chairwoman of Asia Private Equity Panel at the 7th China Venture Capital Forum; in 2006 and 2007 selected as Global Young Leader of the 21st Century by the Boao Forum for Asia; and in 2008 selected as one of the Top 80 Chinese Financial Leaders in the publication <Global Chinese Financial Leaders – Interviews with 80 Chinese Financial Leaders> published under <The State Council of the People’s Republic of China>. Dr. Alyce SU began her investment management career at PIMCO’s Newport Beach Headquarters Portfolio Management Group as a Financial Engineer, after receiving her PhD in Physics / Biotechnology from the California Institute of Technology, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States, in 1998. She is the youngest female PhD in Taiwan history.
