Cascadia Tech Academy (Formerly Clark County Skills Center) offers career and technical education where jobs are in high-demand and pay well. High school juniors and seniors can earn college credits as well as certifications and licenses specific to their program areas.
We serve over 29 high schools, private schools, and home schools in Clark County. Each year, more than 1,100 students choose Cascadia Tech to improve their earning potential through advanced career or technical training.
What is CTA?
Cascadia Technical Academy is a cooperative Career and Technical learning experience created in partnership with ten school districts in SW Washington. It started in 1983 as Clark County Skills Center.
Who can attend CTA?
Students of Battle Ground, Camas, ESD 112, Evergreen, Hockinson, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal and Woodland have first choice for the nearly 1,200 openings to attend Cascadia Tech each year.
Can others attend?
Homeschooled students, GED students and those attending approved local private schools can also attend when open spots are available. We have many students outside of the ten member districts each year.
